Thank you so much for the honesty and bravery you showed in your entry to the page. I can see that you been through a lot in your lifetime, but I also really get the sense that you are not taking any of it lying down. You truly demonstrate the difference between being a "victim" and being a "survivor" and I would be most willing to sit with you in session.
So, let’s talk a bit about Indigo Children. I must say right from the beginning that I know very little about them. But what I do know, I am most willing to share.
Indigo Children is a concept that was made popular by Jan Tobler and Lee Carol in the mid-90‘s. It came from work they were doing with an entity named KRYON. (www.kryon.com) Lee started channeling the KRYON energy or personality against his conscious beliefs and desire. This energy, which refers to itself as the " Magnetic Master" followed him around for years until Lee was able to develop the tools, trust, and/or sophistication needed to channel this energy and bring it’s messages, now translated in several languages, to the world. Initially, KRYON spoke to Lee through different psychics. Lee, at that time, was a skeptic and KRYON forced him to confront his deepest held beliefs about negativity, religion, and spirituality, until this energetic force was able to manifest in the way it was destined to be. The end result, and I believe it is still a work in progress, is that Lee and Jan wound up channeling various books, tapes, CD‘s, and videos, went on tour, and made a fortune. He’s good!
The KRYON materials were fiercely popular and still maybe so. The first two books were outstanding. KRYON also has its explanation of 1111. The term Indigo Children refers to children who are born with a special color (Indigo) in their aura’s, indicating that these children have instilled within them a connection to Spirit that most of us older kids have to work to uncover or rediscover. They are born with a stronger sense of self and as a result have stronger boundaries and sense of integrity. It’s hard to fool them. They know they are spiritual beings in human form. They communicate to adults and other children from that perspective.
Indigo Children are supposed to be special. They can recall life before they were born, easier. Because of this, it looks like they are more gifted. They seem to go further faster. Which is why kids today are so tech savvy, supposedly.
Part of me suspects that this concept is as universally accepted as it is because parents who have given birth to the next generation are more spiritually aware than their parents were. Parents from a previous generation may not have been so open to the creativity or self-expression of a child on the scale that we are today. I like to call these parents "Celestine Prophecy Parents". They are very much spiritually aware and I think their offspring are a reflection of it.
I know that a bunch of readers of this page will probably add to or reject what I have to offer on this subject, Debbie. But one thing that I want to leave you with is, be these children Indigo or not, they are no more or less gifted than you are. Never forget that. Spirit speaks to you just as it speaks to us all, regardless of how old of a kid you are.
