Your great Aunt sounds like a tremendous individual. Knowing you are losing someone you love can sometimes make the grieving process seem endless. Some people find it useful knowing that someone is dying; it helps them to prepare for the inevitable. Other people would rather not know; it makes them feel uncertain about how to act.
Melissa, I’m concerned with how the next thing you read will sit with you. I do not mean any offence by it. But at this point my biggest concern would be for this lady to leave the planet and you to feel like you could have done more to show her the magnitude of your love for her. My suggestion is, whatever you feel, don’t hold it back. You may already subscribe to this belief, but perhaps someone in your shoes may be reading this now and not know what to do, I write this to speak to both you and them. God be with you.
In response to your query about 1111, it seems to serve as a connector from something beyond the human realm to us. I like how you linked it with your intuitive knowing of things. There is a teaching that says if prayer is our way of speaking to God, then intuition is the response we get from that prayer. Seeing the 1111 is a different type of response. It encourages us to see the Divine multi-dimensionally and expand our awareness of it.

Treasure the time you have left with your great aunt, Melissa. Tell her how much you love her and take the time to be with her.
