I haven't talked to you in a long time so I thought I would drop you a line. All I really want to tell you is that the last reading you did for me, we talked about a long period of single life, followed by attractions from the opposite sex to the new me, then the completion of this part of the journey to a real love and a dynamic change in the life around me. Thank you so much for your article, The Five Stages of Spiritual Development. I am finding it very helpful. It is exactly what is happening to me. It is comforting to know that I am not alone.

It is funny, after I got off the phone with you, I really released a lot of anxiety and fear and literally surrendered. It was just then that the previous owner of this house, (who had only had the house for about six months had raised it to pour a new foundation and frame in a basement suite), dropped by to pick up a sink and file cabinet he had left. He brought old photographs of our house and talked to Eric about how he had planned to build a coach house on the back of the lot instead of taking the subdivision route that we were planning.

Suddenly, it occurred to us that this would be a much better plan and would solve a lot of the problems we were having. I kept feeling that something was not quite right with the subdivision and moving of the house, but I thought it was our only alternative to recover renovation costs and finish our restoration. This seems like a new and promising option - and it was right in front of me, only I was not looking.

It was like you said, I was trying to control the outcome of the situation, and when it wasn't exactly what I envisioned, I became fearful and tense, thus prohibiting the creativity within myself to explore other options. It was not until I let go and admitted defeat that a new opportunity presented itself.

Where would I be without your support Lorne. You have been a comfort on my spiritual journey and your encouragement and love keeps me positive and hopeful. I know that I must do this on my own and I welcome that, but it is nice to know that I, along with all the others who have chosen a spiritual path, have you to help guide us. Serious good karma babe!

How are you doing? I hope all is well with you. I just wanted to drop you a note to say "thank you". I found this week's Vibe Report very moving. I feel like it was written for me - wow! As you know, the stuggles I have faced with my "substance" - I still fight this even though it is better in a lot of ways. It is like this inner battle I have. Most recently, I felt tired and depleted and the message I received was that Spirit was tired of the struggle and does not want to do battle anymore and nor do I. In your message, you said:

"If you have been trusting your own inner signs, they have been leading you to change your life to make it look closer to the one you've always wanted but were afraid to have"

That is really what I feel - you nailed it - I am afraid to have the life that I've always wanted, - why? - I don't know. It feels so close at times and yet so far away. About a month ago, I heard you on the Radio talking about your guardian, and how you asked him/her for help. You said that your guardian will only give you what you can handle and all you have to do is ask.

well ....

I did just that, and it seemed that it got the ball rolling on a number of things. I asked my guardian (Spirit guide) to help me, by getting a new job and helping me to cope with my family and personal problems. Well, Spirit answered, I got a phone interview within two to three days, and ended up hired to work for a major firm in Vancouver (sight unseen). My marriage became like when we were newly married and my health is improving.

Well, since then I thank my guardian (Spirit guide) every day and I thank you for bringing Spirit to me.
