I am a strong believer in life-long learning and continually seek to further my education through various workshops and training opportunities. In 2002, I began my formal education in counselling psychology at the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training, from where I graduated with a Diploma in Counselling Psychology. Over the years, I've attended numerous workshops to develop my counselling skills further.
Since 2006, I began focusing on the study of Psychoanalytic theory and practice. I am currently taking courses with the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society.
In 2011, I became an approved clinical supervisor and earned my Master Practitioner of Counselling Psychology certification with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association
I am a registered member of both the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) (#1801) and the Canadian College of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I am also registered with two governmental agencies that might refer you to counselling services: Victim Services of British Columbia and the Federal Administrative Services, in which case your session fees will be covered by these agencies.
Fees for my services are covered by some Extended Health Care Plans and can be tax-deductible under medical expenses.
