Dear Joseph,

Thank you so much for sitting with me this past Saturday. The information you shared with me was just what I needed to know. I had been weary and disheartened, and now feel renewed motivation and direction as a result of the talk we had.

I very much appreciated the space you gave me to be flustered and shy, as odd as that might sound. It is usually a struggle to keep that aspect of me from showing. What a blessing and relief it was, in this world that feeds off of frenzied 30-second sound bites, to be able to stammer and hesitate and be inarticulate, and to feel that you were not judging me for this.

Once again, thank you for the generosity of your time, for your comments, and for holding the space for me. It was truly a gift.
